    With the Rainbow Mountain tour, you'll witness a mountain range that, as you ascend, reveals changing hues until you reach Vinincunca, also known as Rainbow Mountain or Cerro Colorado. This natural wonder stands out for its intense colors, the result of a fascinating combination of minerals revealed by the melting snow, which attracts hundreds of tourists each year.
    Rainbow Mountain or Rainbow Mountain, known by locals as Cerro Colorado or Vinincunca, is located at an altitude of 5,200 meters above sea level, on the way to the Ausangate snow-capped mountain, in the Vilcanota mountain range, in the Pitumarca district. Its slopes and summits are adorned with bands of fuchsia, turquoise, lavender, and gold, a visual spectacle that captivates those who visit.
    This phenomenon originated when sediments transported by water, which previously covered the area, were deposited, and over time, tectonic activity uplifted these sediments, forming the mountains. Vinincunca's vibrant colors are the result of the oxidation of its minerals, influenced by humidity and erosion, creating the stripes that attract thousands of travelers today.

    HOTEL PICKUP – CUSIPATA – RAINBOW MOUNTAIN.
    At 4:30 am – 5:00 am, our team will pick you up directly from your respective hotels in Cusco. From there, we will embark on a journey of approximately 2 hours, traveling 80 km south of Cusco, enjoying the rural scenery as we enter the mountainous region.
    Upon arrival in Cusipata-Tintinco, we will stop for a delicious breakfast. During this time, you will enjoy a variety of fresh and energizing foods to start your day. If you have any dietary restrictions or are a vegetarian, please let us know in advance so we can offer you suitable and personalized options.
    After breakfast, we will continue the journey to the trek's starting point. Along the way, you will have the opportunity to admire the breathtaking view of the snow-capped Wiñay Ritty, also known as "Forever Young," a mountain of great beauty. Upon arriving at the trek's starting point, we will take some time to organize our gear, ensuring you have everything you need for a comfortable and safe experience (walking poles, water, cameras, etc.).
    We will begin the hike at a relaxed pace, passing through beautiful Andean mountains, valleys, and fields. The tour will take approximately two hours, allowing you to enjoy the natural surroundings at your own pace.
    We will arrive at the famous Rainbow Mountain, a stunning natural phenomenon offering a panoramic view of vibrantly colored mountains, one of the geological wonders of the region. You will have time to explore the area, take photos, and appreciate the magnitude of this unique place. After a good time enjoying the scenery, we will begin the descent, which will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
    Upon returning to the bus station, we will take the vehicle to a local restaurant, where we will enjoy a typical regional lunch. This is the perfect time to relax and recharge after the hike with a delicious and comforting meal.
    Finally, around 4:30 pm, we will return to Cusco, bringing to a close this incredible experience full of natural beauty and Andean culture.
