    The Waqrapukara hike is one of the new options in Cusco, ideal for hikers and adventurers. This pre-Inca construction, which served as an astronomical observatory, awaits you.

    TRAVEL PLAN


    The tour begins with hotel pickup from 4:30 to 5:00 a.m. Once the entire group is assembled, we will begin the tour. We will travel for 3 hours by tourist transport to the town of Santa Lucía. During the tour, we will stop in Cusipata for breakfast, then continue the trip. In Santa Lucía, we will take a detour, traveling for another 15 minutes along a winding road until we reach Punta Carretera. We will then prepare for about 10 minutes to make final preparations before beginning our hike to Waqrapukara. Once everyone is ready, we'll begin our hike. The hike is uphill and lasts 1 hour and 30 minutes, covering approximately 2.5 kilometers. Upon arrival at Waqrapukara, the guide will explain the importance of this archaeological complex. We'll then have free time to explore the site on our own and take photos. After the visit, we'll enjoy a delicious box lunch. We'll then return along the same road to Punta Carretera, where our transportation will be waiting to take us back to Cusco. We'll arrive in Cusco at 6:00 p.m.
